KOGOVSEK POWERS THROUGH FINAL TABLE TO WIN WPT NATIONAL VIENNA

The WPT National Series made its way to Vienna, one of the hottest tour stops for the World Poker Tour over the weekend to crown the WPT National Series Champion.

That title now belongs to young Slovak Tomaz Kogovsek. Kogovsek started final table as the chip leader and frankly, his opponents were no match to his power play and his chip stack as Kogovsek eventually clinched the National Series win, defeating Thomas Muhlocker heads-up.

Fourth place finisher, Peter Kamaras, collected Player of the Year points earlier this year at NLH Event #53 earlier this summer at the WSOP.

While the main tour heads to South Africa for the first time this weekend, the next WPT National Series event is currently in Slovenia, at the Perla Casino in Nova Gorica to be more precise, for the PlanetWin365 WPT National Slovenia event.
