Tim Hartmann (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-720th) won the Irish Winter Festival at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin earlier this week. Hartmann defeated Patryk Pietnoczko heads-up and earned 100K EURO for his efforts.
Third place finisher Ronan Gilligan (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-296th) continued a strong 2012 campaign. Gilligan started this season off strong with a 3rd place finish at WPT Ireland to start the year; he followed that up by placing second at UKIPT Galway in Febraury.
Julian Thew (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-2.017th) - who won GUKPT Conventry last October - was fourth in the event while Daniele Nestola (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-720th) - who won the LAPT Grand Final in Brazil in February - finished in seventh.
