It's finally Marc-Andre Ladouceur's (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 64th) time to shine. Ladouceur won the kickoff event to EPT Sanremo on Friday, winning the 5K IPT High Rollers event, collecting over 132K EURO for his efforts.
This is Ladouceur's third six-figure score in less than three months. Ladouceur lost to Terje Augdal in the finals of the EPT Barcelona 10K Heads-Up event.
Earlier this summer, Ladouceur enjoyed quite a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, he is currently being featured in the WSOP on ESPN episodes as one of the big stacks heading into Day 7 coverage.
Ladouceur also enjoyed a deep run at the 2011 Main Event, finishing in 63rd position.
EPT Deauville champ Vadzim Kursevich (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 19th) collected POY points for the fourth time this season, his sixth place finish in this event earn him a place on the Top 20 overall leaderboard.
Kevin Schulz (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-250th), Mihails Morozovs (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 342nd) and Michael Benvenuti (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-1,239th) are some of the other notables who collected points in the event.
