IVEY THE TOP H.O.R.S.E. - WINS 8TH

Phil Ivey has won another bracelet - this time it's the 3K H.O.R.S.E. event ... a star-studded final table wasn't enough to stop Ivey, who was down to a few chips with 12 players left.

Ivey wins his 8th bracelet joining Erik Seidel - he and Seidel now sit two bracelets away from Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan. Phil Hellmuth leads the way with 11.

It's only a matter of time before Ivey becomes the top bracelet winner of all-time, right?

A bunch of high-profile players joined Ivey in the Top 18: Bill Chen, John Juanda, Jeff Lisandro, Dave (not Bakes) Baker, Chad Brown, Dan Makowsky, David Benyamine, Dan Heimiller, Scott Seiver, David Singer and Freddy Bonyadi.

4-event update!

Starting with Event 32 - the 5k No Limit Hold'em Six Handed Event - where Men Nguyen was heads up for his second bracelet of the Series - making sure no one has forgotten about "The Master". But Jeff Papola, who's had his own successful series so far, beat the Master to the punch.

Papola has scored major points (a first and a second) both in Six Handed events - is he the best six hander out there?

With this result, both Papola and Men the Master enter the PTPR Top 10.

A tip of the cap to notables Erick Lindgren, Christian Harder and Eugene Todd - all three also collected points in this event.

HARMAN, CHAINSAW COME CLOSE

Jennifer Harman and Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler came dangerously close to a bracelet in the 10K Seven Card Stud World Championship last night ... unfortunately, they will have to settle for silver (Kessler) and bronze (Harman).

Harman caught fire with 14 players left sky-rocketing to the Top 3 in chips ... Kessler was actually the guy with a chip and a chair with 13 players left - yet, he buzzed his way up to second ... quite an impressive performance by both players for sure.

And what else can be said about Vladimir Shchemelev? Yet another final table performance - he's showing the world that he now one of the most dominant mixed games players in the world.

There were a bunch of other big names that made the Final 16 ... Steve Zolotow, John Juanda, Dario Minieri, Blair Rodman and Toto Leonidas.
