Words can't even begin to describe what transpired about an hour ago at the Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, Indiana where 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Greg Raymer (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 89th) won his fourth - that's right, fourth - Heartland Poker Tour event since the end of July, winning four out of six events during that stretch.
There is no denying Raymer's skills. Going real deep the year following his Main Event victory proved that Fossilman was no fluke ... but four tournaments in a matter of months? No one could have predicted this. Raymer picks up over $106,000 USD for his Indiana victory.
Raymer defeated Jacob Bazeley (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 91st) heads-up. Bazeley has also had a solid 2012 campaign - his highlight coming right off the bat at the 2012 WSOP - finishing second to Brent Hanks in NLH Event #2 at the Rio.
Bazeley also earned (2) Top 5 finishes in side events at The River Poker Series this past August in Oklahoma.
