Mateusz Rypulak has won the France Poker Series Paris Main Event.
After eight days of tournament poker, the young man from Poland defeated 714 players including Frenchman Sofiane Tigride heads-up to collect the second live tournament score of his career of note - although we're sure that he is much more excited about his big pay day today compared to the 22,000 CZK cheque he cashed in July after finishing 11th at the Pardubice Poker Festival in the Czech Republic.
Top payout players included WPT World Championship runner-up Philippe Ktorza and Paul Tedeschi who recently collected three Top 10 finishes at WSOP Europe in Cannes, including a sixth place finish in the Main Event.
