APPT ACOP: ZHOU OUTLASTS CHAN TO WIN ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP OF POKER

After six hours of heads-up play, Xing Zhou (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-195th) finally got the best of Ying Kit Chan (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-416th) to win the APPT Macau Asia Championship of Poker Main Event.

Former ANZPT Sydney Champ Michael Kanaan (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-591st) was third in the event while Jacques Zaicik (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-494th), Alan Sass (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-132nd), Andrew Hinrichsen (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-2,037th) and Tom Alner (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 274th) were other notables at the final table.

Recent WSOP Europe High Rollers Champ Mike Watson and former Macau Poker Cup winner Raymond Wu failed to pickup valuable Player of the Year points by finishing right outside the Top 9.
