WPT VIENNA: MOORMAN MASSACRE AT MONTESINO

PICTURE: WPT

We just couldn't believe our eyes earlier on Friday. Chris Moorman - one of the most successful hybrid (both live and online) poker players out there - was second in chips and looked like a shoe-in to collect his first ever WPT Main Event cash as the money bubble was fast approaching at WPT Vienna in Austria's capital city.

Shockingly, a few hours after Day 3 play began, Moorman (2012 PTPR Rank: NR) was on the rail, only a few spots away from the money.

THE MILLION DOLLAR MEN
Of the remaining 21 players in Vienna, three of them have million dollar chip stack, but don't have much in way of live tournament cashes, we'll have to see if Goswin Siemsen, Morten Christensen and Norbert Szecsi can keep momentum on their side on Saturday.

BIG NAMES TRENDING
WSOP Europe prelim event winner Tristan Wade (2012 PTPR Rank: NR) and EPT Berlin Champ Ben Wilinofsky (2012 PTPR Rank: NR) picked up where they left off, both players remain at the top of the leaderboard heading into Day 4 play.

Joining both men is WSOP bracelet winner and Borgata Fall Open Champ Andrew Badecker (2012 PTPR Rank: T-210th). Badecker - who finished fifth at the WPT Shooting Star in February - is looking for his fourth six figure cash in the past eight months.

We shouldn't overlook star players Roberto Romanello (2012 PTPR Rank: NR), Eugene Katchalov (2012 PTPR Rank: T-576th) or Anton Wigg (2012 PTPR Rank: T-377th) as well. Although they are all a bit low in chips, there is still plenty expected from these veterans of the poker circuit.
