EPT CAMPIONE
We needed an epic 13-hour battle between two star players and a relatively unknown to find a winner at the inaugural EPT Campione in Italy. In the end, Jannick Wrang outlasted New Yorker and heads up specialist Olivier Busquet and Frenchman Fabrice Soulier and collected 640K Euro for the win.

Wrang was the third straight Danish player to win the European Poker Tour. Frederik Jensen and Mickey Petersen were the last two winners in Spain and in Denmark.

MAIN EVENT REPORT

In side event action, Swiss player Stefan Huber collected his second PTPR Score of the season winning Event #11 – NLH 2K Euro, earning 96K Euro. Huber’s win moves him to 20th on the QuadJacks Poker Player of the Year List.

SIDE EVENT REPORT

Konstantin Puchkov won Event #14 – NLH Bounty 2K Euro while Americans Andrew Badecker and Bryn Kenney cashed in the event.

Will Molson won the 3K Heads Up event, defeating Bjorn Li in the final.

Govert Metaal won the 10K High Rollers Event, defeating Steve O’Dwyer heads up. Bryn Kenney and Zimnan Ziyard also cashed in the event.

Kenney cashed again in the 5K NLH Turbo Event, finishing second. Martin Finger and Eugene Katchalov also finished in the money.

McLean Karr won the 2K NL Turbo Bounty Event, defeated Aussie Joel Dodds heads up. Kevin Vandersmissen and former November Niner Filippo Candio also placed in the money.


FOXWOODS POKER CLASSIC
Nick David and Charlie Davis decided to kiss their sister in Connecticut, agreeing to chop the Foxwoods Poker Classic Main Event title – David ends up with the trophy, no news yet on if Davis will be granted visitation rights. The players chopped over 224K.

GoLeafsGoEh! Mike Leah finished 11th in the event while Micah Raskin was 20th.

ESTRELLAS VALENCIA
It was a chip leader switcheroo at the Estrellas Poker Tour Valencia Main Event as Miguel Angel Rodriguez, second in chips at the start of final table play turned the tables on chip leader Ruben Gonzalez once heads up. Rodriguez collects 92K Euro for his first tournament victory on the circuit.

WSOP CIRCUIT RINCON (SAN DIEGO)
Wisconsin's Joe Kuether has collected the Main Event victory at WSOP Circuit Rincon. A total of 332 players played in the Main Event.

Kuether picks up an impressive ninth tournament cash in the past two months - just under 200K in winnings, including a 111K payout at this event.

Poker legend (and WSOP Circuit LA winner) Freddy Deeb was fourth in the event while Brandon Cantu – who won a side event in the series – finished 11th and Eric Baldwin was 16th.

BATTLES AT THE BEACH
Vitor Coelho has been making a habit of collecting nice sums of money at poker tournaments for the past 14 months.

In 2012, Coehlo earned three cashes at WPT Main Events. He picked up a top-ten finish in all of them ... 10th WPT Southern, 4th WPT Jacksonville, 6th WPT Five Diamond.

Coelho followed up a 40K score - winning Event 12 NLH 6-Max - with the win in the Main Event earlier today at the Isle Pompano Park's Battles at the Beach. Coelho earns over 115K for the win.

Raj Vohra, who finished 15th at WPT Lucky Hearts in February, finished fourth in the event while Darryll Fish, Alex Outhred and Mike Beasley all collected Top 10 finishes.

TRI-STATE POKER CHAMPIONSHIP
The Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana recently hosted it's latest tournament poker series, the Tri-State Poker Championship, and Ohio native John Nelson was crowned Main Event Champion.

Jonathan Duhamel still leads the QuadJacks Poker Player of the Year Race. With his win at EPT Campione, Danish player Jannick Wrang takes over the 10th spot from fellow countryman Frederik Jensen.
