WPT BESTBET JAX: JATTIN LEADS AS FINAL 55 RETURN MONDAY

PICTURE: WORLD POKER TOUR

Although many top players were eliminated on Sunday, we have 55 runners still alive at the WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open, all looking for their shot at the WPT title!

Farid Jattin (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 689th) is the overnight chip leader in Jacksonville. Jattin was runner-up to Tyng Low at the Borgata Summer Open last June and has collected over 270K USD in winnings on the live poker circuit.

Trailing Jattin is well known pro Darren Elias. Elias (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: NR) has several wins to his credit, but his most recent major score, like Jattin, came at Borgata, where he finished in the WPT Borgata Poker Open last September.

There are still five former WPT Champions in the field. They are lead by defending WPT Five Diamond Classic and recent iSeries Live Champ James Dempsey (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: NR), who brings a little more than 400K in chips into Monday's play.

2011 PTPR Poker Player of the Year - Will "The Thrill" Failla (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-132nd) - is seventh in chips. The defending WPT Legends of Poker Champ is fresh off his win on the Heartland Poker Tour last month and will be looking for more on Monday.
