While most of the poker world was in London and Cannes for the past few weeks, some American pros decided to stay home and play the US circuit and - for at least two of them - it was a very good decision.
BORGATA DEEPSTACKS
Matthew Glantz earned just under 100k and picked up his fifth PTPR Score of the season at the latest Borgata Deepstack event. Glantz, who finished fifth at this year's WSOP Poker Player's Championship, is no stranger to collecting points at Borgata, he had a fine finish last month at the WPT Borgata Open.

Meanwhile in Northern Nevada, the Fall Pot of Gold Deepstacks Live Main Event was taking place at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Two name players - Steve Brecher and David Baker - duked it out to find a winner ... and Brecher eventually managed to pickup the victory over the ODB.
It was Brecher's second PTPR Score of the season, he finished fourth at the WSOPC Regional Championship at the Rincon earlier this year. For Baker, this was his third score of the year.
