The High Rollers took their seats in the annual (and very popular) EPT London High Rollers 8-Max event today at the Hilton London Metropole.
75 players each put up £20,000 in hopes of following in Nacho Barbero's footsteps ... oh, and collecting £750,000 in process.
PTPR #14 ranked player Sam Stein leads the day after Day 1. Stein bagged 24,000 chips Tuesday evening, only a few thousand more than Canadian Michael Watson. Isaac Haxton, Michael Tureniec and 2011 November Niner Phil Collins round-up the Top 5.
Speaking of November Niners, the current WSOP Champion (only for another month!) Jonathan Duhamel held the tournament lead for a while today. The defending EPT Deauville High Rollers will start Day 2 in 10th overall position ... in total, 30 players will be back on Wednesday.
