LUTSENKO WINS MERIT MED CUP

Andrey Lutsenko has won the Merit Mediterranean Poker Cup, besting 220 opponents for the first major live poker tournament victory of his career. Lutsenko earned a little over 110K USD for his efforts.

2008 WSOP November Niner Kelly Kim was eighth in the event, collecting over 48K in the process. Kim has had a few scores in Cyprus since his WSOP final table.

Anzor Makhtsev - who finished third at the 2011 Merit Winterfest - finished in third position as well in this event.
