APRIL PLAYER OF THE MONTH
American Daniel Smith destroyed the competition this month, earning the QuadJacks.com PTPR Poker Player of the Month nod for April
Smith won three 5K buy-in events at the EPT Grand Final, collecting over 530K EURO for his efforts.
Smith almost doubled the points accumulated by EPT Grand Final Main Event Winner Mohsin Charania, who was second for the month while ElkY – Bertrand Grospellier – was third in April, with his two High Roller scores in Berlin and in Monte Carlo.

At this point in April 2011, Ali Eslami had taken over from Marvin Rettenmaier in the Player of the Year Race. Eslami had picked up a Top 10 finish at WPT Hollywood (Indiana) in order to take the lead. Alessio Isia was second and Rettenmaier had been relegated to the third spot.
