They expected to have the list of final table participants set for tomorrow at the Unibet Open in Paris, France.
One small problem, once the money bubble arrived, it was pretty obvious that the remaining players at the Cercle Cadet Poker Room were in for a long, long night of poker.
It was almost 3AM in Paris when it announced that we would be done for the night. 11 players will be back on Sunday where a final table will be set - eventually - and we will play down to a winner!
Just a few chips behind the leader sits former EPT Barcelona winner Kent Lundmark. It's going to be hard not to pick Lundmark as the favourite on Sunday, the Swedish pro will be looking for a first title since the victory in Barcelona.
