The 2012 edition of the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is off and running on laptop and desktop screens across the world.
NEGREANU, ElkY FINAL TABLE DRAW EVENT
It was only a matter of time before Isildur1’s PokerStars teammates decide to join the party at SCOOP. Although neither Daniel Negreanu (KidPoker) Bertrand Grospellier (ElkY) were able to pickup the victory at SCOOP Event 06-H NL Draw, it’s certainly a good start for both!
ElkY held the final table chip lead for a majority of the time but he ran badly once the event was three-handed and the Frenchman was unable to survive Maestro Shao’s late-event charge.
The scenario was similar for Negreanu. Maestro Shao had built up such a big chip lead that there was nothing to be done, KidPoker was out second and Maestro Shao had collected his first SCOOP win of the series.
Maestro Shao also picked up a sixth place finish, good for 1.9K, in Event 06-M, NL Draw.
