PTPRpoker EXCLUSIVE! HARALABOS VOULGARIS TO TAKE CARLOS NAHAS' PLACE AT BIG ONE FOR ONE DROP!!!

After some intense negotiations, Haralabos Voulgaris has purchased Keith Hamilton's seat for the 1M buy-in Big One for One Drop event starting July 1st at the World Series of Poker.

Carlos Nahas won Le Grand Tournoi de Poker Loto-Quebec a 25K buy-in event last month - he was playing on behalf of Keith Hamilton, who had won his GTPLQ seat via a slot-machine contest.

There had been several rumours about Hamilton/Nahas looking to sell the Loto-Quebec seat and, after a post on 2+2 requesting bids, Voulgaris was there with an offer.

Loto-Quebec certainly scored and lucked out with this transaction, Voulgaris is a top-notch poker pro and with all of his experience, it's hard to imagine a better fit for Loto-Quebec - add to that the fact that Voulgaris is Canadian, well, seems like a match made in heaven!

Voulgaris will play in the One Drop and with the WSOP staff insisting that they will not move from their hard cap of 48 players, it looks like Voulgaris wanted to make sure he would be in.

In an exclusive interview, I was able to speak with Haralabos about the reason why he wanted to play the One Drop...

"... my main motivation for playing this tournament was the field. Its a high buyin tournament, so that aspect of it is very exciting. In addition the field isn't exactly replete with professionals. There are a lot of casual players entered in this tournament so I think its quite possibly one of the highest ev tournaments ever."

I will be posting the full exclusive interview with Haralabos Voulgaris as well as a exclusive interview with Le Grand Tournoi de Poker Loto-Quebec Carlos Nahas shortly on www.PTPRpoker.com
