2012 WSOP: DAY 8 RECAP - 71-YEAR OLD PREVENTS GRIFFIN FROM GETTING #2

Gavin Griffin's quest for a second WSOP bracelet was halted when a 71-year old picked up the bracelet instead in Event #8 - 1,5000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better.

Griffin (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 74th) was defeated by former Marine Herbert Tapscott (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 24th) during heads-up play.

Former WSOP November Niner John Racener (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-182nd) and Allen Bari (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-592nd) were two of the bigger names in the Final 18 of this event.
