Max Steinberg (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-28th) won over 440K with his win in the latest 1K event at the World Series of Poker as a few players short of 2,800 battled it out for three days in hopes of becoming the latest bracelet winner this summer.
Steinberg disposed of Samuel Gerber (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-110th) heads-up while popular US pro Matt Stout (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 119th), who hung around all night without a ton of chips, finished in third position.
Dylan Hortin (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-236th) was fourth in the event and Vincent van der Fluit (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 18th)- who won a bracelet earlier in the Series - was 11th.
David Nicholson, Ryan Laplante, Vitaly Meshcheriakov, Mikhail Timoshin and Justin Zaki were other notables in the Top 18.
