We've completed Day 2 at the APPT Queenstown Snowfest and although we had a very small field to start, action seems to be popping in New Zealand!
German player Marcel Schreiner will be the chip once play starts back up on Saturday but most eyes will be on xMONSTERxDONGx Jonathan Karamalikis, a colorful and very skilled pro on the tournament circuit. Karamalikis is a well-known pro that has had a lot of success in Australia and New Zealand - in fact, Karamalikis won APPT Sydney back in December.
We are down to 21 players, here are the Top 10 chip counts:
Marcel Schreiner 453,800
Tom Grigg 220,500
Jonathan Karamalikis 192,800
Ben Paurini 180,100
Carl Knox 148,100
Hugh Cohen 143,900
Daniel Laidlaw 138,100
Jackson Zheng 121,200
Cole Swannack 120,100
