It would take a miracle to knock Phil Willcocks off his perch at APPT Melbourne. Willcocks held a monster chip lead for two straight days at the Crown Casino. But, Leo Boxell was certainly up for the challenge!

It took some patience for Boxell (pictured) to take over - in fact, it was only in the final half-hour of play that Boxell took control of the chip stacks and slayed the dragon that was Willcocks.

Boxell earns his second PTPR Score of the season - he had a small pickup at the ANZPT Gold Coast Main Event in May. Boxell now has 110 PTPR Points heading into the second half of the season.

Van Marcus finished fifth in the event, earning his first 20 PTPR Points of the year while Jackson Zheng's 8th place finish was his second PTPR Score of the year.

Final Table Payouts (IN AUD):
1st Leo Boxell (Australia) - $330,000
