WPT SPANISH: 18-YEAR OLD DESTROYS FINAL TABLE EN ROUTE TO VICTORY

PHOTO/SOURCE: PARTYPOKERBLOG.com

It was a dominating performance from a very young man on Sunday in Barcelona. 18-year old Lukas Berglund had captured the 2011 World Poker Tour Spanish Championship - becoming the youngest WPT Main Event winner of all-time - besting Randal Flowers in the process.

Even more impressive than surpassing Flowers is the way that Berglund picked up his first live title. He single-handily eliminated all opponents at the WPT Final Table! That's correct, all seven opponents were disposed of at the hands of Berglund himself!

Congratulations on a very, very impressive performance, Mr. Berglund - too bad we won't see him at the WSOP this summer - actually, we won't see him at the World Series until the summer of 2014!!!

Here are the winnings for our final table participants (in EURO):

1.Lukas Berglund - €260,000

3.Frederic Bussot - €64,000
