We're off and running at the Shooting Star in San Jose! The Main Event is in the middle of Day 1B as we speak ... the 2K NLH Side Event was held during the past few days with Jake Solis coming out with the win.
Solis (2012 PTPR Rank: 41st) earned over 155K USD with the win, surviving the 315-player field that was filled with many pro poker players including Jonathan Duhamel, the current leader in the 2012 QuadJacks Player of the Year Race, powered by PTPR Poker.
Ngoc Bui finished third in the event. Bui (2012 PTPR Rank: 200th) was 2nd in the Battle at the Bay Main Event at Lucky Hearts Casino in California in 2011.
Brandon Crawford placed ninth in the event. Crawford (2012 PTPR Rank: 511th) earned a score at the LAPC last season.
