The short stack is Alessandro Minasi. Minasi (2012 PTPR Rank: NR) picked up a fifth place finish at IPT Malta last May.

KOVALCHUK OH SO CLOSE
The man who has become the King of the IPT, Oleksii Kovalchuk, was close to yet another final table. WSOP bracelet winner Kolvachuk has collected two IPT titles (Nova Gorica and San Remo) since last September.
Kovalchuk (2012 PTPR Rank: 117th) seemed destined to appear at another IPT Final Table but he ran into a big hand and that was that, he was out in 16th position.
