Illinois native Anthony Marsico has collected the first major payday of his poker career. Marsico (2012 PTPR Rank: 20th) won the 2012 Chicago Poker Classic on Monday, defeating a 360-player field and collecting over 265K USD in the process.
Marsico had collected scores in the Chicago Poker Classic series for the past two years before winning the Main Event on Monday.

Kevin McColgan won the NLH Heads Up side event, defeating 219 other players in the process.
