The Italian Poker Tour's Malta Main Event wrapped up right on time for our Italian friends to get on a plane and be in Vegas on time for the start of the World Series of Poker.
Marco Figuccia (pictured) beat 130 other players to pickup the IPT Malta crown. 3rd place finisher Nicola D'Arrigo picked up his second 10-point PTPR Challenger Event performance of the 2011 season.
This looks to be one of the final events to be completed prior to the start of the WSOP - we will have our PTPR Player of the Month for May announced on Tuesday.
