WSOPC NEW ORLEANS; JEJELOWO WINS SOUTHEAST REGIONAL

PHOTO/SOURCE: POKERNEWS.com

The WSOP hosted the last of it's Circuit Regionals this past weekend. The WSOP Circuit New Orleans Southeast Regional was won by AJ Jejelowo. Jejelowo defeated Gary Friedlander heads up.

Three poker pros were at the final table and each were hoping for a better result ... Allie Prescott actually held the chip lead for a while on Sunday, but, could not manage anything better than a fourth place finish after a tough confrontation with the chip leader.

It's a second straight disappointing finish for Matt Waxman in New Orleans. He finished 8th earlier this week at the WSOPC New Orleans Main Event. He ended up 7th in this one, good for his fourth PTPR Score of the season - he has crossed the century mark for points in 2011.

And let's not forget about Allen Kessler. Kessler was the extremely short stacked player when final table play started. Kessler managed to make his way to sixth before finally being eliminated - great showing for the Chainsaw!

Here are the official payouts:
1 AJ Jejelowo $235,956
2 Gary Friedlander $145,422
3 Harry Cullen $95,214
4 Allie Prescott $66,202
