IRISH OPEN: CLOSING OUT IRISH OPEN WITH SIDE EVENT RESULT

PHOTO/SOURCE: PADDYPOWERPOKERblog.wordpress.com

Well it's time to shut lights at the Burlington Hotel for another year, the Irish Poker Open is done for 2011. We did have one last event qualify for PTPR Challenger Event points, the EUR 1K No Limit Holdem side event.

James McGee was the eventual winner of the two-day event, he collects 35 PTPR with the win. This was the first PTPR Score for all five players scoring poits in this event.

Manig Loeser finished 9th in the event - but failed to pickup PTPR Points for the third time this season as only the Top 5 finishers were awarded PTPR Points.

Here are the payouts for the Top 10 participants:
1st. James McGee (€32,120)
2nd. Janne Patko (€30,120)
3rd. Richard Fohrenbach (€23,120)
4th. Marc Foggin (€21,120)
