EPT SAN REMO: LYKOV LOOKING FOR A BETTER RESULT THIS TIME AROUND

PHOTO/SOURCE: POKERSTARSBLOG.com

We have 60 players remaining at EPT Ssan Remo. Among them is Maxim Lykov, who sits in third place. Lykov is having a pretty good season so far in 2011 - he has three PTPR Scores (in two Prelims at the PCA - including a strong performance at the 25K High Rollers - and a score at the WPT Venice Main) but, although those three results were all Top 10 finishes, he has yet to capture a title - in fact, his last major title came at EPT Kiev in August of 2009.

Italian Roberto Spada will carry the chip lead into Day 4. French pro Ludovic Lacay hit a few big pots during Day 3 action, he sits fifth in chips.

Fabrice Soulier and 2009 WSOP Champ Joe Cada are still in the hunt, both have Top 15 chip stacks.
