The World Poker Tour has invaded the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in what is the WPT's first ever non-regional tour stop ever in the State of Florida.
Florida legislation changed last year and this has allowed for tours like the WPT to set-up shop in FLA.
We already have over 400 players signed up for the event (registration closes at the start of Thursday's Day 2). We've already lost over 100 players following the end of Day 1 play.
The unofficial chip leader is LAPC Prelim Event winner Randy Dorfman. Dorfman also scored points at the Aussie Millions this season. He is 7th overall on the PTPR Tournament Player of the Year Leaderboard. A good showing here would certainly help him skyrocket up the charts.
