WPT SLOVENIA: KORSAR CRASHES, TRAVNIK TAKES WPT BRACELET

It seemed like it was the Johannes Korsar Show today at WPT Slovenia. Korsar entered final day play as the chip leader, and, for most of the day, was simply crushing opponents.

All of a sudden, the Korsar Show started losing in the ratings (some upstart named Vincenzo Natale was on his heels). Korsar and Natale battled it out and, one misstep by Korsar and he never could recover - his show was cancelled and Johannes Korsar was our third place finisher in the event.

Funny enough, Natale himself wasn't able to go all the way. After some intense chip swings, it was Slovenia's own Miha Travnik who walked away with his first ever WPT Bracelet. Travnik earns his first major live poker victory as well as his first PTPR Points with the win.

Valentin Stroiescu and Thomas MacDonald both earned their second PTPR Scores of the 2011 season while Manuel Blaschke is another notable that earned PTPR Points in this event.

Next WPT Tour Main Event Final Table is set for August 30th - it's Legends of Poker time at the Bicycle Theatre near Los Angeles.
