2011 WSOP: POLYCHRONOPOULOS WINS THE LATEST BRACELET...

PHOTO/SOURCE: POKERNEWS.com

It's a good thing that the WSOP do not hire a person to engrave the name of their bracelet winners ... if they did, that person would be working overtime as we speak!

Athanasios Polychronopoulos is the latest bracelet - and holds the lead of longest names to win a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2011!

Polychronopoulos defeated Simon Charette heads up. The final four participants (Polychronopoulos, Charette, Peter Ippolito and Yevgeniy Timoshenko) needed to come back for an extra day today as play was declared done late Thursday night/early Friday morning.

It's too bad Charette wasn't able to collect the win - the Canadian would have been able to bring it home for his country, today being Canada Day up North.

Other notables collecting PTPR Points in the event included: Alexander Queen, Matt Stout, Corey Burbick, Bodo Sbrzensy, Park Yu Cheung and Eugene Castro.
