2011 WSOP: LYKOV EARNS 7TH PTPR SCORE, WINS FIRST BRACELET

Congratulations to Maxim Lykov for winning his first ever WSOP gold bracelet - besting over 4,500 players along the way!

What a great season it's been for Lykov. He joins Jason Mercier as the only two players to earn seven PTPR Scores in 2011 - he has accumulated close to 2 million dollars in tournament earnings this year - surprisingly, this is Lykov's first win this season.

Lykov's win places him 6th on the 2011 PTPR Tournament Player Leaderboard, seven points ahead Ben Lamb, who just registered 46 PTPR Points in the WSOP Poker Player's Championship.

Lykov's worldwide results this season are quite impressive - he secured his first points of the year back in January at the PCA in the Bahamas, then went onto WPT Venice, EPT San Remo, EPT Madrid, and the Venetian Deep Stacks and the WSOP in Vegas ... not a bad looking passport for 2011!

Other notables in the Top 18 included: Runner-up Dror Michaelo, Josh Evans, Sebastien Roy, Matthew Lagarde, Pierre Neuville, Aaron Overton and Mickael Morgousky.
