PHOTO/SOURCE: POKERENEWS.com

Dan Smith and 21 other competitors all put up 100,000 AUD in order to participate in the second Aussie Millions 100K Challenge. Smith (2011 PTPR Rank: 237th) got the best of his opponents and picked up a cool crisp 1M+ AUD with the victory - not a bad two-day payday!

Smith defeated Mikhail Smirnov heads up. Smirnov (2011 PTPR Rank: 1150th) lost a huge race late and was unable to recover.

Australia's native son Joe Hachem (2011 PTPR Rank: 322nd) and the one and only Tony G (2011 PTPR Rank: NR) were the only two other players to finish in the money in the event.

FINAL TABLE PAYOUTS (in AUD):
1- Dan Smith A$ 1,012,000
2- Mikhail Smirnov A$ 616,000
3- Joe Hachem A$ 330,000
4- Tony G A$ 242,000
