SEIDEL SHINES WITH NBC HEADS UP WIN

Erik Seidel has defeated 2003 WSOP Champion Chris Moneymaker to win the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship.

Seidel has had a monster start to 2011, has already accumulated over four million in tournament cash. The only issue? Most of his accomplishments have happened in non-PTPR qualifying events. In fact, only two of his scores have counted toward the PTPR Tournament Poker Player of the Year race, he has collected 61 PTPR Points in 2011.

This event did not qualify for PTPR Points due to the fact that it was an invitational event.
