We have a new leader! The France Poker Series Paris Finale was held last month. German Marvin Rettenmaier won the event and, with his third PTPR Score of the season, has taken over the PTPR Tournament Player of the Year race, surpassing Italy's Alessio Isaia.

Rettenmaier now has 170 PTPR Points on the season, here is how he accumulated his points:

PCA Event 29 NLH 6-handed: 25 PTPR PTS (Prelim event)
EPT Deauville Event 26 NLH: 40 PTPR PTS (Prelim event)
France Poker Series Finale Paris: 105 PTPR PTS (Tier 3 event)

Meanwhile, the Big Event NLH Bounty Shootout wrapped up yesterday. Pat Walsh won the event, scoring his first points of the season. Victor Ramdin scored for an impressive second event in a row (he won the Big Event Main Event two days earlier).

Current World Champion Jonathan Duhamel scored 10 PTPR Points in the event with his 6th place finish. His second score of the season brings his season total to 110 PTPR Points, good enough for a place on the PTPR Tournament Player of the Year Top 15 list.

Other notables collecting points were Joe Tehan, John Smith and Shane Schleger.
