2011 WSOP: HEINZ, BENBA, STASZKO FIGHT FOR WORLD DOMINATION

After some fireworks, three runners remain at the WSOP Main Event - we are two days away from naming our latest World Champion.

And this three-man table is going to have as International of a feel a meeting at the United Nations ... three Nationalities will be represented, making this a true World Championship.

The main man with close to a 2:1 chip lead heading into Tuesday's play is Pius Heinz of Cologne, Germany. Heinz had a great day on Sunday. He was consistent and was picking up pots all day. There was a lot of buzz around Heinz as the November Nine neared, looks like the buzz was justified.

Speaking of buzz, was there anyone with more pressure to perform on Sunday than Ben Lamb? Seems like most of America was behind Lamb (of Tulsa, OK), including many of the professional players on the circuit. Well, Lamb sure did impress. Although Benba was lucky in a few spots, he survived a big Sunday and seems poised to take over this tournament.

Trinec, Czech Republic native Martin Staszko is the last of the Final 3 - sure seems like most have him pegged as the underdog heading into Tuesday's final day. We'll have to wait and see if Staszko - who entered final table play as the chip leader - will play the role of spoiler at the WSOP.

It was an awful way to end it for Matt Giannetti, our Final 3 bubble boy. Giannetti was crushed by Ben Lamb on the final hand. Giannetti (pictured) was all in with a ace-tree while Lamb held pocket kings. Giannetti was behind from the get-go but, with two kings hitting the flop (making quads for Lamb) well, it was game over for the defending WPT Malta Champion.
