100 players were back for a couple hours of play on Thursday at the Palm Beach in Cannes. Play ended with 47 players surviving Day 3 play as the money bubble burst at the Partouche Poker Tour Season 4 Main Event.

Spain's Juan Maceiras takes the chip lead into Friday's play. Maceiras had good runs at the EPT Grand Final and the PCA 25k High Rollers event but he's looking for his first major score of the 2011 season. Maceiras has had some great results on line but, he's still missing a major live score.

French star Ludovic Lacay is just a few chips behind, and hopes to win the big one for his home country.

For his part, Sam Trickett rounds out the Top 10. Trickett was red-hot when the 2011 season started, many proclaiming him the best player on the circuit at that time ... it's been a little slow since then for Trickett.

Day 2 chip leader Oleksii Kovalchuk took a hit during Thursday's play. Kovalchuk is still alive but, he's going to be one of the short stacks on Friday.

We're back in Cannes on Friday!!
