It's a second tournament victory for Oleksii Kovalchuk this season! Kovlachuk has just won the Italian Poker Tour's Nova Gorica Main Event, defeating Team PokerStars member Luca Moschitta heads up.

Kovalchuk entered final table play third in chips but, with this summer's WSOP bracelet victory in hand, he was considered the most dangerous player remaining - and he proved everyone right by winning tournament #2 on the circuit in 2011.

Kovalchuk went from 72nd to 25th on the PTPR Leaderboard, joining fellow WSOP bracelet winner David Diaz at 173 PTPR Points.

The chip leader heading into final table play was Vitalii Minakov, Minakov could not manage any better than fifth place, still, a good showing for the Ukrainian player. This was Minakov's second straight IPT Final Table - he finished 7th at IPT San Remo, where Luca Pagano collected the victory.

FINAL TABLE PAYOUTS
Oleksii Kovalchuk 150,000 €
