2012 WSOPE: WE'RE OFF AS MAHMOUD WINS

We have our first bracelet winner at the World Series of Poker Europe and it's Tunisian poker player Imed Ben Mahmoud (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-168th) who wins the NLH Six-Max event, defeating Frenchman Yannick Bonnet (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-365th) heads-up for the bracelet victory, the first of his career.

Matan Krakow (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-654th) - who finished third in the event - finished third in this same event in 2011.

The most notable player at the final table had to be Welshman Roberto Romanello (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-359th). Roberto rose to poker stardom in 2011 and has collected nearly 3M USD in live tournament winnings. Romanello finished fifth in the event.
