Congratulations to Martin Drewe for capturing the opening event of the Aussie Millions. Drewe lost his chip lead (he was the chip leader heading into the second day of play) but managed to survive over 140 eliminations to finally capture the title, and the first PTPR Points of his career.

Canadian (and former November Niner) Scott Montgomery finished 8th in the event. Montgomey won his first WSOP bracelet in 2010.
