Play has concluded for the night at the WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals ... chip leader Hoyt Corkins and Tom Marchese (3rd in chips) were involved in a monster pot about 15 minutes prior to the end...
Marchese was able to win the hand (trip 10's on the flop) and Tom is now the chip leader, and has a 2 to 1 chip lead on second place!
Hoyt on the other hand is now crippled, going from chip leader to 8th with about 400k in chips.
Twelve players remain.
Marchese, Corkins, Jason Mercier and Sorel Mizzi are the marquee names still alive in the now 12-player field. Marchese and Mizzi are fighting for control of the first overall rank in the PTPR Player of the Year Standings.
We'll be going down the the WPT Final 6 tomorrow!
