Two tournaments are expected to wrap-up today.

Firstly, near Chicago, the WSOPC Hammond has been a mega-hit ... so much so that the Main Event, with a +1 million dollar prize pool, qualifies as a Tier 3 Event - meaning big points on the line.

Kurt Jewell leads the way with 3.1 million in chips - big names William Reynolds (3rd in chips) and Bryan Devonshire (picture, 6th in chips) are still alive. Reynolds currently sits tied for 127th with 125 points on the PTPR Rankings, Devo sits tied for 170th with 101 PTPR points).

Also nearing completion is prelim Event 19, 2.5K NLH, at Foxwoods' World Poker Finals. Jacob Bazeley enters the day as the chip leader.
