COMING TO AN END AT FOXWOODS : MARCHESE CRIPPLES CORKINS

Play has concluded for the night at the WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals ... chip leader Hoyt Corkins and Tom Marchese (3rd in chips) were involved in a monster pot about 15 minutes prior to the end...

Eiler won the Sunday Millions back in March - this is his second major victory - but, his first PTPR Score of the season.

Hruby and third place finisher Konstantinos Nanos scored for the second time this year. Daniel Negreanu, who finished fourth, scored for the fifth time ... it was a third score for 5th place finisher Luca Cainelli.

It was a painful elimination for Daniel Negreanu. Healthy chip lead to start the day but, in the end, the cards didn't go Kid Poker's way. A well played tournament means 40 PTPR Points for Negreanu. This was his 5th score of the season, he now has 90 PTPR Points and sits tied for 214th in the PTPR Player of the Year race.

Martin Hruby is your current chip leader. Konstantin Nanos and Michael Eiler both have about 25% of the chips each left.

PTS AT STAKE: WPT FOXWOODS WORLD POKER FINALS

A little over 40 players remain at the WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals. Big names including Gavin Smith, Josh Arieh, Thomas Marchese, Sorel Mizzi, Hoyt Corkins, Jason Mercier and Brock Parker.

Mizzi sits 1st on the 2010 PTPR Player of the Year Rakings, Marchese is third. A win for either player would mean a large PTPR points lead heading into the final two months of the season.

A win for Smith (currently tied for 22nd on the PTPR list) would give him 333 PTPR points and, depending on how Mizzi and Marchese score, this could leave the #1 rank up for grabs for ole G Smith!

CROWN JEWELL : KURT JEWELL WINS BIGGEST WSOP CIRCUIT EVENT ... EVER

Big ups to Kurt Jewell for winning the Main Event at this year's WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond ... and REAL big ups to Harrah's, for putting the WSOPC back on the map with the addition of it's 10K Regional Championships (starts today in Hammond) ... the fact that the Horseshoe is so close a cool city like Chicago certainly didn't hurt the turnout.

This was Jewell's first score of the PTPR season ... William Reynolds put up his second score of the year with his third place finish, Will Souther and Bryan Devo Devonshire finished 6th and 7th - their second score of the season as well.

FLOWERS POWERS HIS WAY TO THE TOP

Congrats to Randal Flowers, winner of the WPT Festa Al Lago Main Event - at 22, he becomes the youngest two-time WPT Main Event winner of all-time - great work, young sir.

This is Flowers' first PTPR Score of the season. We had one heck of a field when we hit the Final 18 - the buzz was around vets Annette Obrestad (finished 13th, 5th score of the season), Jeff Madsen (11th, 4th score) and Allen Chainsaw Kessler ((7th, 6th score) what an amazing chip and a chair story for Chainsaw) - as well as recent WPT Main Event champ Andrew Frankenberger (finished 5th, 3rd score of the season. But Flowers outlasted them all.

Three other events were completed in the recent days...

The 5K Festa Al Lago final event (NLH) also took place. Jonathan Little took home the title and 100 PTPR points. Veronica Dunn, Craig Bergeron, Brock Parker all scored for at least the second time this season.

Leonid Lerner scored for the second time this season, winning the Borgata's 250K Guaranteed Double Play on Tuesday night.

And finally, Alessandro Minasi scored his first PTPR points by taking down the Pokerstars IPT event in San Remo.

TWO MAJOR EPT LONDON EVENTS IN THE BOOKS, NACHO, JUANDA, MARCHESE MAKE BIG PTPR MOVES

Two big events in the books today at EPT London. John Juanda lost out to Scottish player David Vamplew ... he suffered a few tough beats where he drew to nuts only to beaten on the river. Still, Juanda skyrockets to 6th on the PTPR Top 10 list. Fellow Top 10'er Thomas Marchese scored 33 points in the event and he moves up to third on the PTPR list with only four months left.

The High Rollers event also concluded today and Jose Nacho Barbero was your big winner outlasting Finnish pro Jani Sointula. Andrew Robl and Vannesa Selbst also scored points in this event. Nacho's victory, his fifth total score of the year, moves him one point behind Juanda, in 8th place, on the PTPR Top 10 list.

Online qualifier Martin Sansour turned a online win into a first major PTPR "cash" by wining the LAPT Rosario (Argentina) Main Event. 254 players were in the field - a 1+ million prize pool was there for the taking.

In other news, we're down to only five players at EPT London ... John Juanda currently leads the way - we will have final results shortly.
