It was a wonderful comeback by Michael Gathy (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-20th) - down to 100K in chips at one point in five-handed play, the 2011 Belgium Poker Series Grand Final Champion was able to pick himself up, dust himself off and start his ascension towards poker glory and Belgium's second bracelet of 2012.
Gathy defeated Jamie Armstrong (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-93rd) heads up. Armstrong held the overnight chip lead heading into final day play.
Three notables closed out the Top 5: Noah Vaillancourt (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-86th), John Esposito (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 147th) and Eric "Basebaldy" Baldwin (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 227th).

Dan Smith finished one spot from the final table in 10th position, however, the #1 ranked player on the 2012 QuadJacks Poker Player of the Year Leaderboard - powered by PTPRpoker adds 30 PTPR Points to his total.
Smith now holds a 65-point lead on Marvin Rettenmaier. Should the season have ended today, Smith would have finished third in the 2011 race, only points behind eventual winner Will "The Thrill" Failla.
