DWYTE PILGRIM - MINOR LEAGUER NO MORE

Dwyte Pilgrim rose to stardom on the "minor league" circuit playing lights out poker on the WSOP Circuit tour for the past year. Pilgrim has dominated US events outside of Vegas. Well, it's not Vegas, but, it's a WPT Tour title at Borgata for Pilgrim - putting him on the pro-circuit map and propelling him into the PPTR Top 10 for the first time!

Pokerati's Dan Makowsky (5th), Jeffrey Papola (7th) and John D'Agostino (14th) are other notables that scored points in the event.

This event was a major success for the re-surging World Poker Tour - 1,042 players attended the event, making it the largest field ever in World Poker Tour history. Sure looks like the WPT is back on track!
