We're still hours away from completing Day 1 of the 25K High Rollers event at the PCA but one thing is for sure - Jonathan Duhamel is once again trying to take control of a big event at Atlantis.
After 8 levels, Duhamel sits third in chips with 95 of the 148 registered players still alive. Duhamel is looking for his FOURTH Top 5 finish in less than a week - not a bad start to 2012, Mr. Duhamel.
Duhamel has been leading the Canadian charge at the PCA - but Chris McClung is surely hoping there is room for him at the top. McClung currently leads the event (at press time) with fellow Canadian Erik Cajalais also hovering around the Top 10 chip counts in the High Rollers.
Bill Perkins, Elio Fox, Keven Stammen, Nick Yunis, Vanessa Rousso, Jennifer Harman and Mike Sowers are all notable players with above 100K chip counts.
TOP 10 CHIP COUNTS (at press time)
Chris McClung 223000
Andrew Lichtenberger 207000
Jonathan Duhamel 178000
Bill Perkins 175000
William Thorson 155000
Erik Cajelais 155000
Elio Fox 140000
Keven Stammen 115000
Josh Bergman 114300
Lawrence Greenberg 111000
