1K NO-LIMIT HOLD'EM |
4,620 ENTRIES | 1.56M PRIZEPOOL
A lot was expected from Dominik Nitsche (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-47th) in 2012 after he was named as the PTPRpoker Future Watch Player - the ONE to watch in 2012.
What had been a tough year for the German certainly turned into a great one last night. After six straight months with zero PTPR scores, Nitsche turned things around in a big way, collecting his first bracelet in his first visit to Las Vegas.
Just having turned 21, this is the first year that Nitsche was eligible to play the WSOP and all tournaments in the US.
Nitsche defeated Jonathan Hilton (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-151th) heads-up while Day 1 and Day 2 chip leader Alex Cordero (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-274th) was third.
It was s second PTPR Score this season for fifth place finisher Randolph Lanosga (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-226th).
