Timothy West (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-141st) sure picked a great time to pickup the biggest live cash of his live tournament poker career, besting a 398-player field and winning the latest Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza Main Event, held at neighbouring The Palazzo in Las Vegas.
The DSE win puts West over the 2M mark in live tournament career earnings.
This was West's first win since his Wynn Classic victory in March of 2011.
Shannon Shorr (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 144th), William Reynolds (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: 410th) and Kevin Saul (2012 QJ/PTPR Rank: T-1605th) all joined West at the final table.
Slava Popov, Noah Vaillancourt, Cliff Josephy, Tony Cousineau, Galen Hall and Todd Terry all earned Top 20 finishes in the event.
