The Latin American Poker Tour has found its latest champion. Julian Menendez was able to master the 681-player field and win his first major tournament of the 2011 season.

Menendez defeated Jonathan Monsalves heads up in what was a crazy final day, where a big field was still remaining as the day started.

Two significant poker events reached their climax this weekend. We have results from the GSOP Greece Main and the Macau Poker Cup Championship.

GSOP GREECE
Another successful tour stop for the Grand Series of Poker. Record-setting numbers for the Greek Main Event. In the end, Sergio Marti Aguilar is your champion, defeating the entertaining Stefan Genchev heads up. It was a first PTPR Score for 2011 for all of the Top 5 players.

MACAU POKER CUP
The Macau Poker Cup Championship Event winner is Raiden Kan. Kan played a great final table and picks up his first major tournament victory. Victor Chong lost to Kan heads up. Charles Lam earns his second 5th place Challenger Event finish of the season.

2011 WSOPE: GRINDER POWER - MIZRACHI, BOUCHER COLLECT BRACELETS

It's a double dose of WSOP bracelet winners on Saturday.

While French-Canadian Philippe Boucher was collecting his first bracelet earlier in the day, it was the Grinder, Michael Mizrachi who was grabbing headlines as the day wore on.

Grinder collected his second WSOP bracelet. After taking the 2010 Series in Vegas by storm, Grinder has come to Cannes 15 months later to pickup another bracelet.

Grinder defeated Roger Hairabedian and Shawn Buchanan today in order to secure the victory in the special "Split" holdem format - the first of it's kind in WSOP history ... where we played a full-ring, six handed and heads up all on different days.

Both Grinder and second place finisher Buchanan cross the century mark in PTPR Points for the season. Hairabedian earns his third PTPR Score of the year while it was number two for Noah Schwartz, Dan Fleyshman, Anatoliy Ozhenilok and Brian Hastings.

2011 WSOPE: WADE KNOCKS OUT SIRWATTS WHILE ElkY, O'DWYER MOVE UP

The latest WSOP Europe tournament was completed a few hours ago ... a who's who of the poker world - what a final table it was!!!

Tristan Wade won his first bracelet and his first major live event, and he couldn't be any happier - the Twitter world is all a buzz as well, sure looks like Wade is a popular player and many fellow pros are very happy for him. Here are two of Wade's latest Twitter posts... (@TristanCre8ive)

Wade scored his first win in style, a monster final table was in his way. Heads up, he defeated SirWatts, Michael Watson, of Canada. Both players pass the century mark in PTPR Points for the season.

Two other final table participants - who were already on the PTPR Poker Tournament Player of the Year Top 15 Leaderboard - accumulated enough points to move up in the standings.

Both 5th place finisher ElkY and 6th place finisher Steve O'Dwyer (who's been playing some terrific poker as of late) have made their way up from 7th to 3rd and from 11th to 10th respectively on the Leaderboard. ElkY surpasses Jason Mercier for the three seed.

O'Dwyer becomes the second player in a week to reach seven PTPR Scores, tops this season on the circuit.

Richard Toth, Max Silver, Emil Patel, Taylor Paur and James Dempsey were the other notable names at the final table.
